About CMU
Creative Marketing Unlimited (CMU) is a non-profit, student-run market research firm ran in conjunction with UW-Whitewater's American Marketing Association (AMA). CMU works by forming a mutual relationships with local businesses. The students learn "on-the-job" experience with real accounts every semester. The business accounts benefit by having their research questions answered at a much lower cost than professional firms would offer. Being a non-profit organization, CMU donates it's profits to many causes on campus and supports it's AMA members as well. CMU Mission:
"Creative Marketing Unlimited (CMU), operating as a student run firm in cooperation with the American Marketing Association (AMA) chapter of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is first and foremost a student organization dedicated to furthering the educational experience of its members. This educational experience is a product of providing quality-marketing services to its existence, the principles of professionalism in conduct, and ethics as well as the excellence of the services we provide. As current CMU executive board members, we realize the need to continue this organization that we have all benefited from and take into consideration the continuance and improvement of CMU in all of our actions during our terms as the leaders of this organization.
